Class of 2012
Current City: Columbia, SC
Work: Assistant Solicitor, First Judicial Circuit
Nominated by: Brandon Dawson & James Hills
Brandon Dawson says:
I have known Mr. Harrell for almost fifteen years and during that time I have seen an unrelenting drive to lead, especially when challenged with difficult tasks. Mr. Harrell comes from a long line of politicians giving him an experience edge when compared to many other nominees. He has served as a Law Clerk to Judge Nicholson and now works as a solicitor. This shows his desire to serve the public interest above his own. For these reasons, I would recommend Trey Harrell for this position.
James Hills says:
Trey cares deeply about the Charleston School of Law and will make a great addition to the Alumni Association Board.
Robert W. “Trey” Harrell, III is a 2011 graduate of the Charleston School of Law. Currently Trey is an Assistant Solicitor in the First Judicial Circuit.
After Trey received his Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of South Carolina, he went to work for PrimaryRx and eventually became its Development Director. After working for PrimaryRx for 3 years he entered Charleston School of Law.
After graduation, Trey was fortunate enough to become the Law Clerk to the Honorable JC Nicholson Jr. At the end of his clerkship he accepted the job with the first circuit.
When Trey is not working he enjoys spending time with his wife Amber. They enjoy college football games, being out on the water and trying new restaurants.
