Megan grew up in Moncks Corner, SC. She attended the College of Charleston for undergraduate school. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organization and Corporate Communications with a minor in Sociology.
While at the Charleston School of Law, Megan served as the Chair of the Honor Council from 2009-2010, an Articles Editor of the Federal Courts Law Review, and was a founding Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Alternative Dispute Resolution. Megan also served as an Ambassador for the law school to prospective students. “I wanted a law school that would encourage me to contribute not just to the school, but also to the surrounding community,” Megan said. “When I visited Charleston Law I immediately felt welcomed and valued. I was impressed by the relationships that the Founders had with the legal community in Charleston, and the widespread support of the school.”
After graduation, Megan started her own law firm—Dell Family Law, LLC. She practices family law in Charleston, Berkeley, Horry, and Georgetown counties.
Megan became a member of the Board of the Charleston School of Law Alumni Association in 2011. “I agreed to serve on the Board because the Alumni Association was new, and I wanted to help build it into a resource for all alumni.”
Megan lives on John’s Island with her husband, Ryan, and their dog, Maxx.
