Jennifer was raised in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. She earned a Bachelors Degree in the Science of Foreign Service from Georgetown University, where she majored in International Culture and Politics.
While at the Charleston School of Law, Jennifer served on the Honor Council as Vice Chair of Administration, President of the Law School Ambassadors, a student member of the James L. Petigru Inn of Court, and a volunteer Guardian ad litem for Charleston County.
“I chose Charleston because I wanted to be part of a group of people who also wanted to use their education, skills, and resources to make the surrounding community and state a better place. I believe lawyers, as professionals whom the community respects and who are generally well-compensated for their labors, have an obligation to help those less fortunate. From my first visit as a prospective student until graduation and beyond, I have been pleased and proud to find that the school recognizes this commitment and treats it as an honor, rather than a burden, and I know today I am a better person for having gone to CSOL.”
After graduation, Jennifer went to work with her family at Hills & Hills, P.C. She has a general practice with an emphasis on criminal defense and family law.
Jennifer was elected to the Board of the Charleston School of Law Alumni Association Board 2012 for a three-year term.
