Statement from Jasmine:
I am grateful to be considered for membership on the Charleston School of Law Alumni Board. I am a native of Yemassee, South Carolina and I currently practice as an associate with Davidson & Lindemann, P.A. My practice focuses primarily on civil rights defense litigation, governmental liability defense, insurance defense, and law enforcement defense.
I received my Bachelor of Science from Clemson University in May of 2011. I then went on to earn my Juris Doctor from the Charleston School of Law in May of 2014. I was admitted to the SC bar in November of 2014. Prior to joining Davidson & Lindemann, P.A. I served two separate terms as judicial law clerk to The Honorable Clifton Newman, South Carolina Circuit Court and Business Court Judge and The Honorable DeAndrea Gist Benjamin, Chief Administrative Judge for the South Carolina Court of Common Pleas, Fifth Circuit.
I am running for board membership because I would love to give back and contribute to the educational community that so graciously welcomed me over five years ago. It was at CSOL that I gained the bulk of the knowledge, courage, and confidence necessary to begin the process of becoming a great lawyer. As a member, I plan to provide my diverse views and experiences while collaborating with an already outstanding board and community.
I look forward to the opportunity to serve on the Alumni Board. Thank you for your consideration.
